i/we've been in PA for the past week visiting family for the holidays. trying to take photos with a sick baby in tow is pretty difficult. we'll see what happens in the next few days. until then here's a photo of some hippie magic we tried to cast on eliot to get him to turn (from breach) in the womb. it didn't work, in case you were wondering.

i recently got some film back that i shot in belleville, illinois. it's a small, quaint town that reminds me a lot of where i grew up. these were taken in front of a woman's house on the main strip through town.

while home for thanksgiving last year, i spent some time going through old "stuff." in my digging i found a carousel of slides my dad took a year or two before i was born. these are two of my favorites from the bunch. the top photo is of my mom and the bottom is of my uncles mark and dan.

my sister, danielle, and niece, ava, were in town this weekend. another visit that ended too soon. it's been a month full of family and i wish it could keep going. danielle almost always closes her eyes when i take her picture.
